Our History
Born from an urgent need
Across Nigeria, decades of cinematic history sit in danger — celluloid decaying in forgotten vaults, prints scattered across the world, and the memories of pioneers fading with time. Heritage Film Ventures was founded to answer this crisis: to find what was lost, restore what survives, and document the people and stories that built Nigerian cinema.
What began as a rescue effort has grown into an institution — one that aspires to stand among the world's leading film archives and cultural foundations.
